About Pendulums: Pendulums have a number of uses, all of which assist the user to communicate with spirit guides for support in healing and guidance.
The most common use is to ask yes and no questions. We recommend cleansing your new pendulum as soon as it arrives.
When you are ready sit in a quiet space with your pendulum, take a few deep and slow breaths before asking your pendulum to show you a yes and to show you a no. Hold the top of the string (some will have a bead or ring to hold onto) in one hand and hold the pendulum over your other open hand (palm).
Then feel free to start asking questions you know the answers to, to try it out. When you are ready ask as many yes/no questions as you like.
From my personal experience pendulums tend to not answer questions that require your time investment to make a conscious decision yourself (the big life decisions). They often will answer smaller questions to support with that bigger topic, however.
